Overview

Sy Fontenot is finishing a double major in both Mathematics and Computer Science at the Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering, University of West Florida. Outside of academics, he plays for the UWF Men’s Soccer team, is the President of the UWF Creative Writing Club, and is the Vice President of the UWF Math Club.

Short description of your current research project:

Sy is currently writing a paper on streamlining the design of Hotelling’s t-squared statistic charts to detect data anomalies in IoT systems.
